   I was wondering if anyone has a technique for removing water stains from a rear hatch window. I bought a rear hatch that was in very good shape, unfortunately it was stored outside for a while. It has these dried water stains on the glass and I have tried scrubbing Windex but it doesn't do any good. Thanks for your help.

   I have been doing a search and Im coming up short. I see lots of Z's with kits and all and some have the chrome bumpers and some dont. Is this part of the kit, are some of you removing the chrome bumper and doing some extra work, or are you just simply painting the chrome?

    Preventing Rear Hatch Ledge Water Pooling? 1 2

    I've got an issue with rain water pooling on the corners of the rear hatch ledge. The water gets deep enough to seep into the drain holes on the bottom of the hatch itself. From what I can tell, the water runs down the outer hatch weather stripping, and then drops into those corners. I figure it can't be good to have water sitting on the hatch ledge and seeping into the hatch. I don't have any rust issues there, and I'd like to keep it that way. Anyone else had and solved this problem? Matt

    .....she's finally in the paint shop! I can't believe it. It's going to be stripped to the metal and repainted with original 920 plus some gold dust flake. Stay tuned.

    Hi All, Looking for info or previous experience on the refinishing of the rear finisher panels on a 70 240z. Did you sand blast and paint? Or dip the panels in stripper to clean up? Did you attempt to remove the stainless steel moulding on the taillight cutouts? Are the stainless steel pieces available anymore? What colors of paint did you use to repaint?

    New weather stripping issue

    Hello all This afternoon I decided to change the upper hatch weather stripping. The previous owner gave me this . So I took off the deck lid and took off the old weather stripping. Test fitted the new stuff, added some glue and placed it in place using this. Placed the hatch back on an shut it. I come to find that the new weather stripping is a bit thicker and causes the hatch not to shut all the way. What I mean is, the hatch closes but is no longer flush with the rest of the car. Is this just because it is new weather stripping or did I do something wrong? Thanks Jan
