does anybody need one of these. Apparently when I was put on the waiting list for one of these for MSA, it meant that the second they get one they do not email me, the send it and bill me. Well as you all know my front end conversion is done, and I no longer need a genuine nissan lower left front valance. Does anybody need this. I will post pictures later, but this is a brand new nissan part painted black. Just make me any offer.

Hello guys I own a 1976 Datsun 280z that has been in Arizona pretty much its entire life. (or I have been told so). After inspecting the car I found that there is little rust on the car but the undercoating that came from the factory is no longer really there. So I here is what I'm wondering. 1. Have any of you guys used the roll on bed liner on the underside of your Z? Does it work well? How hard is it to apply? 2. Any other products you guys have used for undercoating? 3. Has anyone gone through a body shop and if so how much did it cost? Thanks Jan

I know im gonna get kind of flamed for this, but, i wanna convert the 72 to RHD, i have always wanted a rhd, and well when my sr blows in the 240sx,(hopefully not soon) im gonna make rhd too:), i love rhd cars, for the sheer wow factor, the ease of shifting, and being on the outside line of the car, instead of on the inside line(safety!!!) things i would need? * firewall from rhd z * steering rack * steering coumn???(dunno about that one * dash * console * i suppose misc pedal mounts, and such? the car is getting an rb20det, leaving it pretty much stock bodied, though, short of zg flares and euro bumpers. what else would i need? keep adding on to my list, im seriously th…

First. let me start by saying I really did use the search button on this before posting I have a 280Z and have long wanted to shed the big bumpers. I have options of, going bumperless (illegal, front looks unfinished, rear looks great), MSA fiberglass bumper covers front and rear (I just dont like the looks, especially the rear and the front is too modern looking), or, using earlier bumpers from a 240. The early bumpers are too expensive, so are the stainless posted here recently. That leaves me with MSA Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber bumpers. I am leaning toward the fiberglass (least expensive) front and rear. I am going to use the bumper brackets from here: http://www.…

Their testimonials seem convincing, but when do they not?

I own a 1972 240z and the color is #112, which is the lime green. I've heard the lime green color is slightly rare. is this true. I am also thinking of painting the car in the future and I like both the original color and a bright yellow color. Is it worth keeping the original color if it's rarer?

I recently replaced the big long bumpers on my 280z with a xenon air dam. The problem is that know I have a large open hole in the middle. Can anyone tell me were can I get the 240z conversion brackets or if anyone is selling some. My car is getting painted(viper red)and that bumper is needed for the finish, and also maybe illegal.any thoughts will help

My dad thinks i should cut a piece of steel and rivet it over the affected area after putting a rust converter on the rust. That sounds pretty easy to me, but i wanted to make sure that's my best option before i start drilling holes. See the attached picture. The passengers side is not quite as bad; the rust doesn't go past where the headlight sits.

I ripped off the bumpers on my 280 and am replacing them with the smaller 240 bumpers. I bought a fiberglass front and urethane air dam from MSA. Those went on without any issues. The rear however, I am having problems with. I pulled my exhaust (replaced it anyway while I was there) and got the strut removed. I couldnt get it through the hole in the back so I cut the mount a bit to get it to come through. There must have been a pound of mud and dirt in that thing! The passenger side, as many know, mandates the lowering (or Ive been told, complete removal) of the fuel tank. I didnt want to mess with that Sunday, so I simply cut the strut close to the hole. I mounted the br…
