There are reocker panels for sale on ebay. I have a 280z and these are listed to be for a 240. Are the any differences? Thanks ..Bruce

I know that paint/body advice is highly arbitrary/relative, but I would really appreciate some words of wisdom from the others here who have ventured here before me. I own a (12/70) 1971 240Z. It was originally silver and was repainted red (what I would call a Maaco job). The rubber was masked (but NOT well), the oil change paper sticker on the door jamb was painted over as were all the door strikers and associated screws and such in the door jambs, etc. THe engine compartment is still silver as is the inside of the rear hatch. not exactly sure but if you look at the pics that top lip looks like it goes on the out side of the bucket like the side valance would, but doesnt cover the entire area, any one with a close of pic of one mounted, this one came from Black Dragon and is going on a 77!

I was wondering if there would be any advantage/disadvantage to sealing the drain holes in the floor pan with fiberglass instead of putting the plugs back in? What function do these plugs serve anyway? They obviously are not ever used for drains unless you make an aquarium out of your floor pans. Thanks. ps. Where would be the most reasonable(least expensive) place to buy POR-15?

Well a big thank you to all you guys for the "coaching" along the way. Think I have gathered enough info to give it a go. here are a couple "BEFORE" pics. gonna be in the 70's this weekend, think it is time!!! Been talking to the paint rep from napa (guy that services all the paint and body shops) and here is my intentions. first step is WHITE TINTED SEALER, not a primer sealer cause I used rattle can duplicolor high build primer and he said that is laquer based and could have an issue spraying primer sealer over it! second step of course base coat, getting a gallon so should have lots with left over. then clear coat, all are supposed to be ureathane based! got to go s…

Can anyone tell me if a NOS front bumper is still available from Nissan? I checked Courtesy today online. It appears from their site these are NLA. Anyone have a "SWAG" on the value of such a thing? That would be "scientific wild arse guess".
