Hey all ..I thought I would post a little message here .. I have just discovered that the "new" doors I have for my 77 280 are actualy for an older model. So I have for sale or swap 2 good doors and 2 rusty doors for a 76 and older z .. and also alittle rusty but not too bad .. 2 doors from a 77 280 What I would really like to find is some good doors for my 77 280 that would bolt right on. Cheers ..Bruce

Well, I did a search on the forums but couldn't find it discussed anywhere else. Has anyone ever had rust bubbles develop under the paint of the air intake grill? I have some that seem to be small... but I'm wondering what I should do next..? Any ideas? I don't mind having to sand anything down or ruining the paint, I just don't want anymore damage to be done. Sorry for the poor quality pics. Bad Camera & I can't seem to upload pics right on this forum.. :dead:

Hi guys, havent posted in awhile, been busy workin on my Z and school etc etc. Anyways I finally got her painted! Turned out quite well except for the doors. The doors looked great in primer, but once the paint got on them it told the tale, it looks like they were warped when sandblasted. Anyways I did a search and I know 240 doors on a 280 will not work without alot of mod. Anyways my friend has a set of doors off of an early 260, would these work on my 280z, production date is 7/76 for my 280. He said his 260 doors were very heavy, heavier than his 240's doors. Any help would be appreciated.

I have finally gotten around to fixing the floor pans in my 72 240Z. After pulling the seats, etc. I couldn't believe just how bad bad was. So now I need some help. I had planned on getting the replacement floor pans for Charlie Osborne at Zedd Findings. I looked at these floor pans and I released that they don't have the cross piece for the front seat mountin points and they don't seem to have the back seat mounting points. So I guess what I am asking is for any comments you may have on replacing floor pans, where did you get the pans and what leasons learned you could share with me.

Anyone know if repro steel (or fiberglass) entire door skins are available anywhere? I've surfed extensively and haven't found anything other than the partial repair panels. –Thanks

I've searched the forums and can't find the exact answer. I have a '73 240 with good bumpers but really like the way the earlier bumpers fit closer to the body. What are the differences in the bumpers from '70-'72 and '73? The rear bumpers look to be the same as far as I can tell (not having a '70-'72 to compare to). The fronts look different in at least the mounting hardware and over-riders. Any info would be appreciated. Leeboat (Smyrna, GA)

Has anyone used seam sealer where they join together or is there a better Idea! And how long could one expect the seam seal to stay intack and not shrink and crack? Or how about METAL TO METAL body filler?

I don't know the history of this car, but it caught my eye in January, and it hasn't moved since then. Anyway, I thought the paint job was interesting. Enjoy.
