I have a 280z and we restored it with 240z bumpers instead. The original bumpers are not being used and are up for grabs. The front bumper is in near perfect condition. The bar itself is fully chromed with only a small chip on the underside which can't be seen. It also contains the two rubber bumber guards in fronty that are perfect and the rubber arms extending from the ends and reaching back to the car. Also there is a rubber strip that runs on the top of the bumper that is perfect. Shocks are also avalible is desired. The rear bumper bar is not in the greatest condition. It has rust holes and spots in a lot of places, but it is not beyond repair and has good chrome in …

hi,I purchased a set of 198280ZX wheels for my silver 1977 280Z.. the thing is that I found 3 colors of them and I picked the golden ones (because they were in the best condition) I'm a bit confused about the color options that would look good on my car insted of my 1983 280ZX wheels.. in the attachment I stated the patterns of the wheels as A,B anc C my first thaught was like that A:Silver (same as the car color) B:chrome C:same as the original aluminum color some also told me to make A:Black B:Chrome C:same as original any other suggestions or supports to my choise? I would appressiate an advice from you guys.. thanks..

We just shot some base coat, 4th dimension, by Sherwin Williams and went to color sand it before applying the clear coat. Tried sanding the base coat with 800 grit sand paper and the paint just gummed up. So we ended up stripping the whole car to start over. Are we supposed to sand the base coat before applying the clear coat? Do we sand each coat of base? Do we sand each coat of clear? Thanks Miles

Are there any compatible window visors for a 280Z? It might be nice to use on the highwayto deflect some air from making it TOO windy inside, and hopefully removable for showing. thx.

The three grey panels -- one goes under the plate, the others are surrounds on the taillights. What do the fasteners look like? The ones that bolt onto the deck where the hatch closes -- 6 holes. And do they go into speed nuts? Thinking of my '73, here. Many thanks, Steve

Hey guys, Trying to see if I want to get some fiberglass fenders for the front of the Z. I know that if you put ZG flares on, you have to cut the fender, then reweld it. What happens if you take off the metal fender, and bolt in a fiberglass fender? Would that weaken the car, or is there some other thing to install that I'm missing?

I'm looking to replace my turn signal buckets and front lower valence with an air dam, but I want to see one installed on a 240Z in person before I decide to buy it. I was looking at this air dam http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/7AD1/50-1411 or even the same air dam, but without the brake ducts. Is there anyone in Sacramento that has this air dam installed (or the one w/o the brake ducts) that would be willing to let me admire their beautiful Z?
