I have a fibreglass air dam and want to install it on my 71 Z. Unfortunately I don't know the manufacturer of the air dam and don't have any installation instructions. I have attached pictures of the air dam. Any information as to the manufacturer or how to install the air dam is appreciated. My questions are: 1. Is the air dam installed with the left and right corner pieces (where the turn signals are mounted) and the center valence on the car? It looks to me like the turn signal lights are inserted into the air dam and then attached to the corner pieces. 2. Does the air dam go over the top of the center valence. My thought is it goes on top of the valence. I …

I am looking at a 240Z which needs the spare wheel well replaced, the rust resulting from water seepage past bad hatch gaskets (as explained by the current owner). I'm wondering about the cost of such a repair. Anyone have direct personal experience or work in the auto body and paint field to shed some light on approximate costs? Thanks, Gary S.

Hey all, Was there any undercoating supplied by the factory on 1972 z's? Or was the underside of the car and fenders simply painted? Thanks Matt

Is there a place that has fender covers that you can use on a Z? You can't just use the generic kind, because the fenders on a Z are much wider than your average car. Something maybe even with a big Z on it would be good. thx

Hey guys, Thinking about starting the body work project soon. Heres a pic of my rust, and I was wondering if this part is the right one to replace this rust. http://www.tabcobodyparts.com/html/table_of_contents.htm http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=19380&cat=500&ppuser=9982 It doesn't seem like that part I showed as a replacement goes up to that flat part.... anyone know which part that is that needs to be replaced? Thanks

This has probably been asked before but I could not find anything ...I was thinking of doing the underbody of my car and maybe the engine compartment....can it be left as is and not painted over or will it not stand up to road conditions alone....this car will not see snow or rain( if I can help it)....any help here would be great Dan

Has anyone tried to replace the rubber squeegy on the exterior window ss trim on an s30 door. I've seen that you can just buy the rubber instead of the whole trim piece but have never heard of any success stories of installing new rubber. I am curious as to how the staples are used or reused to put the new squeegy on. I want to powder coat the ss trim black and need to remove the squeegy. I don't want to screw up a new 150$ set if I can repair the old .
