Hey folks.... I just pulled off the corroded steel brake/clutch and fuel lines, and discovered the degree of dry rot in the rubber bushings which held the steel hard tubes to the body-wall mounting clips...No way can they be salvaged! Has anyone found a source for these rubber bits? Usual suspects don't have them in the catalogs...Ed, ZSaint, anyone who's completed a recent resto? I've included an annotated pic of Ed's engine bay for clarification.... Thanks! Steve

The time have come for me to pick the paint for 240zt, I want to paint the car orange. I' am now searching orange z cars to find a good shade of orange to go with. Anyone out there that have an orange z car or know of someone that has one or just have some picture of orange z cars would you mind posting or sending some pictures, also if you would include the brand of paint and the paint code. P.S the car is already the stock 918 orange I looking for something different.

Hello all. I need your advise. My 1970 taillight panels are the original Gray, a little faded but in good shape all around. I am restoring the car, but the gray looks terrible next to the new orange paint. The car is all original except I put in a 5 speed conversion. Satin black would look really good. I don't know what to do. My wife says I should just paint them, What should I do? Thanks, Rick.

My rear skirt is mangled pretty bad - especially around the tail pipe. I guess I have to cut out the whole thing and reweld another one. Im exploring alternatives, but I dont really like the rear ground effect kits too much although it seems like a good solution to solve the cosmetic problem. Has anyone every replaced this part? It looks like I have to cut it out and hire a welder. I cant find any bolts. I was hoping for a bolt off / bolt on job. Do you have a straght one you can send me? Am I missing something? It does have to be welded, right?

My z just left for the body shop and I need quarters, rockers, floors, and rear body panel. I need to get these parts fast. Anyone ever buy used parts from here? www.zcarsource.com Where would you suggest that I buy these parts. Are full quarters available? I'm debating what I want my car to look like when I get to the painting stage and I was wondering if anyone is still selling ZXR decals? I'm starting to think a Black ZXR would look sweet! Also where might I find one of the rubber whale tails? I'm also trying to think of some other colors that would look good, any ideas? Thanks.
