   i'm going to custom paint my 71' 240z, but i don't know the style, or color of paint i want to use yet. i need some overhead pictures (pictures taken from above the car) so that i can dray up multiple designs and choose my favorite. any color car would work but a white one would be best. thanks for the help!

   Is this still part of the quarter panel? Is it a common rust spot, or did I just get really unlucky? If it is common or if anyone has repaired this, you guys use bondo or weld?

   I know this is a dumb question, some people probably say weatherstripping is a fairly self explanatory process. But I just want to make sure I'm doing things right. Does anyone know or have any tutorials on replacing each/most of the weatherstripping on a 240Z?

   I won't be painting my car for awhile but I think this is how I want it to look, just want to know what you guys think! yes/no????? Mine will be chevy metalic pewter, with ford metalic graphite stripes like these. I hope it will look good!!!

   I am having difficulty on choosing a color for my restored 1971 240z. It is an original white california car. Should I keep it white or go with a brighter color. Will changing the color reduce its value. I am color confused. I want to keep it original, but white looks so plain. Jeff

   Once I get the Z back from the welder I'm going to start the paint removal process. I've been told that a DA sander works fine, but, I've never used one. So, if someone could recommend a brand first, I've got mostly Dewalt stuff, that would be helpful. I'm sure they are all pretty much the same. Next, pad sizes, grits or any other suggestions would be much appreciated as usual. I have been told the following though...If you work a particular area too hard you can warp the metal causing waves in the metal. Since the car will be painted black pearl, the darker the paint the more prominant the 'waves' would be. How easy is it to actually put flaws in the metal with a …

    Just wondering what everyone thought on this color "ups brown" for a Z. If anyone has a pic of a Z with this or a similar color I would like to see it. The ups guy stoped at my house yesterday and I was looking at his truck and thought it would look nice on a Z with maybe some black rims.     Hi guys, Can anyone post or email me some pics of their 240z? Mine is in the shop getting new floors/rails welded in, and when Im looking at the front end..it appears to have had patch metal put on by a previous owner. I need some pics of the front without the fenders on either side, showing the frame. Also pics looking at front and the area in the engine bay where the grill gets attached to at the front would help. While I'm at it...if anyone has pics of the underside showing where the front frame rails are mounted near the t/c(?) rods are that would help also. I have checked HUNDREDS of pics in the user gallerys...trust me. I have found a few, but anyone with any sitt…
