I'm looking through victoria british's catalog at the moment, and it seems as they sell almost any body panel you need except the rear hatch. Motorsports seems to be the same way.... Anyone know of a company that sells the rear hatch to our cars??

Anyone out there in "Z" land used this product before? Was thinking about getting some and trying it out. (In comparison to POR-15) Have enclosed a comparison chart showing top three corrosion control products used in the product comparison. In case anyone wants to check out the website info and related stuff here's the url: www.rustbullet.com webdawg1 Rust Bullet Comparison.doc

Attached is a picture of my rear quarter panel. I have read various discussions about tabco panels and I was wondering if I would need to use a replacement panel or if this can be fixed in an alternative manner... seeing as I am by no means, a body man, I was asking for general advice on this one... thanks guys

I purchased a paint code sticker from Banzai and I need to add the code "611" to it. What's the best method to do that? I want it to look close to factory.

I Just bought the MSA Aero kit that includes the front and rear bumber replacement and the side ground effects. I am still trying to get the rest of the car ready to paint but couldn't resist the urge to duct tape them on to see how they will look. The parts are hardly an exact fit! The Ground effects tend to be twisted and the bumpers will need some tweeking. If your familiar with the kit you know that only the ends on the bumber are actually fastened to metal. So my question is how to deal with the gaps and transition from a cut fibreglass edge up to the metal. I mean obviousley I can trim the fibreglass peices so that they match the contors of they body, but stil…

Hi there everyone! I've been hanging around this site for a long time as a guest and have found it very informative - there's a tremendous amount of knowledge around here. I just wish my first post could be on a happier subject... I own a 1971 240Z (the car is a full UK-spec car, although it did not reach England until 73 and has a JDM serial number beginning S30 - another topic entirely!) . Unfortunately, last week while it was in storage at my parent's house - hiding for the winter from the salt gritters - my Dad's garage shelves randomly collapsed. Whilst the shelves themselves missed the car, their contents, mostly lots of large heavy books didn't. The roof over the d…

Pillar Emblem 1 2 3

In looking at jmarks fantastic shots of his newly painted Z, I'm reminded of a comment that was made in reference to the 240Z. The area were the pillar emblem is located, there should be a hole to allow for air flow within the cabin of the car. Is this hole very small or is it suppose to be quite visable. Scott's Z has a red LED light that glows from behind both pillar emblems. I don't recall seeing a hole on the 280Z. Vicky

Any chance anyone either in New Zealand or Austrailia might have a line on a piece of the inner fender area on the right hand side of a 240z. I know that being that they are right hand drive there that the battery might not have had it's way with the metal. I need a part from the firewall to the frame rail and forward to about 6 inches from the strut tower for a 240 I am restoring. I would pay a premium for a clean one..I can provide pics for anyone who might have a car they want to part out or know where one that the pannel could be had from.. Just drop me an email. jeffhillhousenospam@valornet.com (just remove the nospam part.) Thanks alot. Jeff

Today I was pulling off the headlight extensions and the hardware was rusted. Using a 8mm wrench to get the nuts off, they snapped the stems off. Found out that these extensions were made out of fiberglass. The stems are metal and the look like they were just "pressed" into the part. Does Nissan still make the stems for the bezals or will they have to be fabbed from the hardware store? Thanks :tapemouth
