Anyone think these holes belong to the mounts of the wing linked at the end of this post? Or any other Ideas of what these holes are doing on my car... ? Gonna have them welded shut anyway, just curious of their origin...

I am getting ready to buy some new rocker panels, as I might as well have the old ones replaced when I have my new floors welded in. Anyone with any experience w/ Tabco rocker panel replacements? They're about $40 each, while the Mill Supply ones are about $56 apiece. MSA and Victoria British seem to be about the same price as Mills. Are the Tabco as good of quality? If so why so much less? Just trying to find the best part I can for a price I can afford. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Gary

Hey guys, recently a bit of rust in my doors made me realise I need to take care of it now and forever so i can just forget about it and move on with the rest of the car. So at the moment my priority is fixing up my door skins. It's quite unusual on my Z the inner skins are stuffed but the outer skins are actally not all bad. I'm looking into a few options but i know a few members here in Australia make replacement sections or know who's good and who isn't. So if anyone can post some links to places or give some details on where i can either find a really good set of second hand 240z doors or fabricated panels. Thanks heaps.

Just took the front fenders off my 72 and would like to find the body man who touched these last. Horrible workmanship. Anyway I'm looking at replacing these and have gotten differing opinions. MSA and VB both sell replacements ($100 price difference!!). Several others sell "patch" bottom pieces. I was leaning towards complete panels to eliminate any underside rust that's growing on the old fenders. However, some have said the VB and MSA replacements are a poor fit. They lean towards letting an above average body shop doing the patch work. Any experience with this dilemna here?

Hi all. I just got back from picking up my doors I won on ebay. Funny thing, the strikers are different. Those that are on the car are the round ones, the ones on the new doors are the slotted kind. Now, I have spent too much money and time just to toss them. Is there a way I can take the slotted striker off that year of car and apply it to my Z, or would I have to fab me a set? I plan to use door poppers and shave the handles so most of the handle hardware will not be used. I need some options. Thanks :tapemouth

I would like to replace the black rubber that comes with the MSA headlight covers. I read in a post not too long ago (can't find it now) that if you go to Auto Zone and pick up some chrome door edge protector, it may be rigged to fit. I would like to know if it will work. Thanks.

Well I think headlight covers look fantastic, an excellent sleek look. Although I don't think I could ever bring myself to drilling my Z. There would have to be a sacrifice. WAIT,apparently MSA sells headlight coversthat require no drilling at all. Has anybody had experience with thses? How do they look? I also added a poll for headlight covers or no headlight covers, I am curious what the census is.

Hey guys, within the next month or so, my new Z is going to go into the paint shop, its a 74 2 seater. The original color is green, currently its completly striped and in primer awaiting paint, Im undecided what color i want to go, the prevous owner painted the engine bay red, and i always wanted a Red Z, but should i stay the classic orignal paint scheme or go for the brighter Red, Ie its BMW Brillant Red is what i'll be going for if red, and the classic Jaguar green if i'm going green... what others opions on color choice, its not going to be a classic historic example etc etc but not sure if i should move away from the original color

So I'm lovin' the 240Z-G look and I'm willing to spend the money on all the Z-G parts to convert my 240Z. One problem though, I don't know any good sources for these parts. If I'm goin' Z-G, I want it all: ZG fender mirrors, ZG flares, ZG wing, and of course ZG front conversion. But if my ZG plan blows out and I decide to stick with the Original look, what do you guys think about bondo'ing some Motorsport Auto flares? I mean I like the bolted flare look but I also like the other way.

Going to try to pick one up but need a picture of a Z with a hexagonal grill versus the horizontal bar piece to show the parts guy. Thanks in advance.
