Hey everyone, I am restoring a 79' 280zx and the body is in good shape, but the rust has ate the rear quarterpanel, on the edge of the wheelwell. Can i fix this with bondo or is it better to just get a new panel? how would i craft the bondo to look just like it used to? Thanks alot.

Im having trouble with what colour to respray my car in, I dont want red because its too common, I want something metallic but that looks good on the zed, I was thinking of Canary Yellow but I still havent made up my mind, If anyone can suggest some colours or post some pics of a zed and what colour was used would be cool, Thanks.

Hey Ya'll, I'm new to the Z world with a 73 240. Pretty fair shape. Somthing that I've always wanted. I have some new tail light assemblies to put in and was wondering just how that was done. Am I right in assuming that the rivets across the top of the tail need to be drilled out? Then what? Are the light surrounds secured at the bottom somehow as well? This site is great! My wife has fallen asleep on the couch waiting for me to get off the computer! alan

Call me ghetto, but I have a torn up front spoiler with a couple of good sized holes on it and instead of buying another for 130ish I was wondering if their is some way to fix it? Considered fiberglass but im sure I can only get that to work on steel. Other solution is spraypainted duct tape I guess =P

I have a 72' 240Z and I want to go with the Fairlady ZG look. Does anyone know where i can find fender mirrors, the mesh grill, or the un-ducted air dam? Any input would be great.

I drive in the Columbia River Gorge where the east wind is really raging now. If it is not the east wind, it is a strong west wind. The car really gets pushed around by the wind. I read somewhere that the Z does not handle well with a cross wind and I can confirm that. Is it design or just the light weight of the car? '72 Z

Can some one tell me how to deflate my bumper shocks. My 1974 206Z has both front and rear bumpers that stick way out. I would like to do away with the rubber seal behind and push the bumpers closer to the body. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also does anyone know if you can put 240 bumpers on my 260? Are the mounting plates the same or do I need to change them out? What about the bumperettes? I'd like to remove them!

Are the hood hinges and bolts, body color or gold zinc? How about the bolts( under the hood) that hold the front fenders? We are talking about original, from the factory. Thanks.....Keith

was just wondering if you get condensation under the headlight covers? If so, there is the potential for it to get on the plastic and mess up the way it projects? thx.
