Can you get stainless steel wiper arms for a 280Z, or are the only available in painted steel?

Since I am rebuilding my engine, I needed to find a color as close to original as possible. I found some Dupont codes, but somehow they couldn't convert that here or where not using it anymore.. A friend who lives nearby, who's also on the forum here, had a bracket laying around that still contained some of the original color.. I had it matched up at a paint shop into cans, what do you guys think of it? In the flash picture, you can see the blue more, but in normal daylight it's like the blue/turquoise..

Can anyone advise the following part number 80100-n3600? I know that it is a right hand door, but I need to know what year models it is for. Thanks. Richard. I thinks this may be for 260z, not sure.

Hi! I'm new to this forum and also new to Z cars. Just got my first '71 240z a month ago. The car is imported from California to Norway. I got a set of ZG flares with the car, and I really like to get these on the car. But have som questions, hope someone can help me :-) How should these be positioned on the car? Should the line up with the stock outer lip all the way? I've been reading on this DIY -> http://classicdatsun.com/new/ZG-flares_inst.html Great stuff. But still alittle unsure. If some one have some good advise, I really appreciate that! Hope my english is understandable :-)

I have read excellent reviews on Vintage Rubber but due to my urgent need of getting the car ready for paint, i am looking for another high quality and fit supplier. Should i settle for black dragon? I read that Z man of Washington is also good! But cant manage to get him answer my emails.

Hi ladies and gents. I'm restoring an early 01/70 240z here... looking to restore the original finish on some of the parts and fasteners, etc. Since it's close to a "paint" related question, i'm posting it here, but feel free to move it if incorrectly categorized! The photos I have of the tear down are not detailed enough. I'm looking for some of the following things: brake lines and brake line bracket coatings (cad, yellow zinc, silver, dark green?)rear brake drums coatings (black, natural finish, clear coat?)rear differential coatings (all black? black housing, aluminum coloured cover plate with clear?)hood latch and door striker coatings (cad, yellow zinc, silv…

FYI: A good way to clean the inside of scuzzy W/Washer Tanks and Coolant Tanks is to use Easy Off Foaming oven cleaner. Spray it on the inside, let it do it's magic and then flush it out with hot water. Be sure to use gloves and eye protection. You can use it on the outside as well. Makes an old tank look almost like new.

I have been wondering if there is an easy way to keep water off of that flat area under the back hatch. The idea hopefully would be to find a ready made item that could be modified to make an "extended gutter" that would divert water coming down the hatch gutter on the lip of the hatch opening on the sides to prevent it from being dumped on the flat area in back so that it continues on and gets dumped outside the car. I won't mention how long I have been trying to figure this out (a year?). If anyone has any ideas at all on this I would like to see them. See attached pictures for what I was thinking though there may be better ideas. The drawing is an end view of an e…

Higuys (and ladies)- I got a pair of Hella Micro FF Fog Lamps, and I checked them in the dark garage to see the light beam size&shape. These lamps produce a very thin horizontal LINE (it's that thin) of light that seems to be about 135 or so degrees spanning. It's not the usual low flood light, like you get with fog lamps, with a horizontal cutoff. So this made wonder how a laser-thin beam of light could be used to light up the roadway in front of the car and to the sides. They come with 55W bulbs/globes, but I think I could upgrade them to 80W bulbs safely (not melting the housing) for more light, or maybe it will just be a brighter pencil-thin beam? B…

I have been looking for some touch-up paint to use in the engine bay of my 918 orange '70 240z and I found a company called ColorRite that supplies touch-up paint in aerosols, half pints and pens in a few of our colors. Here is a link to their site and a link to an amazon example: http://www.expresspaint.com/automotivetouchup/pc/viewPrd.asp?idProduct=17516&idCategory=24&resetSess=Y#details http://www.amazon.com/ColorRite-Aerosol-Nissan-Automotive-Touch-up/dp/B00GVOBDIM/ref=au_as_r?_encoding=UTF8&Make=Nissan|67&Model=240Z|2284&Year=1970|1970&ie=UTF8&n=15684181&s=automotive&vehicleId=2&vehicleType=automotive Anyone have any experie…

Has anyone tried substituting LED bulbs in the reversing lamps? I'd like the most amount of light I can reasonably get, without melting the wires or adding new stuff like relays. I see noticed the "tower" bulbs with lots (as in 60+) of LED chips, and I am curious about how much light they produce. My lenses are in pretty fair condition, and the wires are not that corroded beneath the insulation, in the back of my car. Only the exposed front wiring is corroded inside. thxZ
