Hi all; My 1974 260z racecar's passenger door got dented beyond repair in a recent race and I need a new one. Note that I need only the outer skin for the door. I don't actually need a full "door" at all. There are no traditionally opening doors on this car. But we still use original body panels on the outside. What years will fit a 74 260? Anything that's dirt cheap and in reasonable condition will do. Any ideas on where to find such a part? Many thanks for your advice.

Hi guys I`m really sorry if this is another question about these large bumpers, but I am not able to find any information that I can use. I wanna get rid of my bumpers, and I have a MSA type 3 kit in my garage which I got from a friend (probably ment to fit the coupe model) . But I wanna know if anyone can tell me, can I get 240z bumpers to fit on my -77 280Z 2+2? I have heard that the 2+2 is wider at the rear end and that the 240 bumpers might not fit? Cause, if the 240Z style bumpers may fit I wanna go for that classic style instead of the MSA kit. And besides I would guess the MSA kit is harder to make a nice Really hope anyone can help me out here, and maybe someone …

So, I bought MSA's full Weatherstrip package for the 240Z. I'm replacing the 1/4 window gaskets and everything has gone smooth so far, except for one thing . . . the outer gasket for the window is WAY TO SHORT. If I were to STREATCH the hell out of it, it might actually fit, but I don't think weatherstrip cement or adhesive will hold it there. Has anyone else noticed this? I am amazed at this! so far, everything else has been fitting with no issues. Anyone have any idea on what is happening? I'll take some pictures today when I get home.

I have read many threads and posts about doing floors on the s-30 and using the Zed findings replacement floor panels. I recently was asked for pics; and I thought I had a thread on this-but maybe I never did. Sooooo, I am going to post up pics of the floor replacement I did and what was all involved. This is NOT an easy project-especially if you are shooting to make the car look original. Nothing aftermarket is plug and play. Expect to spend 40 hours of hard work to get this done and look original. I had plenty of tools that made this possible, i.e. air compressor, air tools, mig welder, grinders, cleco sets, welding clamps, etc... I am in no way endorsing Zed Finding…

Gents - I need your advice. On the rear section of my 71 240, there is a series of "u" shaped clips (made of spring steel I think) that are welded to the body and hold the bottom of the tailight panel. A couple of mine are broken and I need to replace them. I don't see these parts available anywhere in the aftermarket. Do I have to find a donor car to get these pieces? I might as well replace all of them. Any ideas? thanks Hank

The passenger side sail panel emblem on my '72 appears to have been replaced shortly before I bought it and looks mint. I would like to get it off the car without breaking the pins. Is there any way to accomplish this? I have a good arsenal of tools but not sure if I have one for this job. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hello I need to replace the rear valance on a 280z. There is a pretty bad dent that cant be covered with body filler. I think my best option is replacing the valance, but Id like to know if I could get a ball park estimate on how much it would cost to have someone replace it. I live in phoenix Az.

15 years in the garage and she is now ready for the total makeover. Delivered to the body/paint shop 2 weeks ago after totally stripping the interior out as well as drivetrain/engine. This was a pretty nice 73 example, white with red interior. It is going to be black with a red interior. I will post progress because I think you will like the result.

I am looking for a definitive answer on the size of the bolts that fasten the lower edge of the front fender to the rocker panel front. Some people indicate that the bolt should be a 12mm head but also an m8-?? thread (either 1.0 or 1.25). I can find m8-1.25 stainless or zinc-plated bolts but they have 13mm heads. I can't find any bolt with a 12mm head. The ones on my car have been hacked by replacement with a self-tapping bolt so matching that is not on. It's a small detail, but I would like to get it right if possible. The original part number is 08360-81610 but I can't find a spec for that to indicate the size. Thanks, Alan

As the title says, I need to reinstall my tail-light lens and I am wondering what the best adhesive/sealant is to use. There was some fairly stiff white sealant on there, but it must have dried out over the years, 'cause the lens kept coming away from the housing. I cleaned it all off, and am ready to re-install. Any ideas are appreciated.
