Machine Shop Question

I am in the process of building a turbo engine with an F54 block and a P90 head. After searching/reading many good pages of information on this site, my game plan is to have 300RWH. I have talked with Rebello Racing and Sunbelt Performance about doing the headwork. I'm sure that both shops can do a real good job but both are very expensive. Can anyone recommend other shops that I could talk with that do good work and might be less expensive? I live in South Carolina and I would like to use a shop in the Southeast. I have had excellent experience with DV Engines in your part of the country. Check out www.dvengines.com. If your interested ask for Doug Syer: he has ported numerous heads for me over the years including an N42 and a P90. The work is top shelf :classic:- but it may also be expensive.

I don't think anyone has done as much development with the L6 as Sunbelt has, so I'd recommend them. Then again, turbo'd you should be able to make 300rwhp with a stock cylinder head.

An excellent shop in Clearwater Florida is Dwan's Automotive Machine, Inc., 727-573-0944. They know Zcars and can do it all. CK-10 Honing, Align Honing, Balancing, Head Service, Crankshaft Grinding and Dyno Service. Ask for Dwan Brock. "We Know High Performance & Economy". That is their motto. I was very pleased with the service and the turn-a-round time.
