Fuse Gremlins!

Cleaned and reinstalled the headlight switch, but it still looks REALLY old and crappy. Fuse still blows. Is anyone able to provide me with the exact path of electricity once I flip the lights on? Like, it goes from Battery to X, from Y to Z, etc. so I can track down the short. I'm 90% convinced it is the combination switch, as my wipers have only worked intermittently as well, and just so happen to be on the same switch. That being said, on Friday I'll be ordering a replacement switch from Motorsport. If that doesn't fix my problem, I'm wheeling the car into work and having one of the very talented mechanics check it out for me (I work for Nissan). I don't want to give up so soon, but this is so FRUSTRATING. Once I'm past the electrical hurdle, I won't mind all the other stuff I have to do. I just need my LIGHTS!!!

Okay, bought a new headlight switch and installed it today...

Fizzle, Fizzle pop. With the car off and key out of the ignition, turn the headlamps on...pop. Maybe about a second or so delay. Where should I look next? I don't feel too bad about dropping $93 on a solution that didn't work, though...I needed a new switch anyways.

Where to, now? =/

When I was having similar problems, we found a: One of the side markers was corroded so it was shorting the whole circuit out. b: The left rear side marker retaing screw was penetrating the wire and shorting the whole circuit out. A lot of troubleshooting with the volt ohmmeter and luck.
