I have a brand new full lock set that will fit any model (240z, 260z, 280z) from 1970-78.

Great for full restoration, or if you just want a factory smooth lock.

Set includes everything in the picture (both doors, rear hatch, glovebox, and ignition lock with keys...).

These retail for a little over $300.

I will let it go for $210 plus shipping($8 anywhere in the U.S.)

I am willing to ship international, just email me for a quote.

Email me with any questions you may have, I will know or can find the answer for you.

That is a lockset for later models and although it will certainly fit the early series cars, it is not original replacement for them. The series one cars had a separate ignition key and the aux. electrical connection for the ignition is on the side of the switch unit.

Just a clarification. All the parts do fit, in my experience.

I am sorry to do this but I can no longer afford to offer this part at $218 shipped. I actually was selling these at a loss. I still have two of these sets left, so email me if your interested(include postal code) and I will quote you the new price shipped. Again I am sorry but I can't continue to sell at a loss. The price will still be below retail and this part is considered to be no longer available. Thanks.

I just received my lock set too. It took a while to travel from Dallas to Norway in my friend's suitcase (he had to open it 2 times after X-ray on airports).

What can I say? Hmmm... mixed feelings :( :classic: :disappoin

I've got 2 very nice, cut keys when compared to my old and worn one. And I've got all new, tight cylinders.

So, why mixed feelings? OK, here it is:

1. Ignition lock has one insulator lip (bakelite?) broken, some small scratches on the front plate and escutcheon ring is dented (the black one, which covers the hole).

2. Trunk locks has several small dents and scratches on the chrome ring.

But the rest is fine - both door cylinders and the glove box lock too.

All those dents and scratches are small, but somehow kill the feeling: "look man, I've got all NEW locks in my Z!!".

And I understand: they were probably moved from box to box, or from shelf to shelf, tens or maybe hundreds of times during last 30 years, sometimes dropped on the floor, sometimes hit by another parts etc.

Yeah,...maybe it is just me, simply expecting too much. My digital camera is not good enough for macro photography, so I can not illustrate my writing.
