Hi guys,

I need to source a 240Z/260Z in new zealand ASAP, preferably the nastiest poorest example you have even seen, i dont care if its rusted in half, i just need the engine bay for a test fit.

Please forward me any information you might have on any Z's you have seen in local papers or wreckers/junkyards.

Thanks guys

James

I have searched the Christchurch wreakers and there aren't any here.

There is a 73 240Z in the Auckland edition of Trade & Exchange that you might want to chase. Link is

Give the owner a call to see what's left.

Good luck

I'm trying to work out if i found a bargain or not LOL.

240Z '73, asstd pts, some panel pts, avg cond, int compl, Mikuni 40pph triple carb, fact manif, g/boxes, alts etc, frm $5

What's this mean?

Does it mean they have Mikuni tripple carb manifold? or the set what?

:cheeky:

I gather that there are plenty of parts that are going from prices starting from $5.

The last set of triple 40pph Mikuni's I have seen on this site were listed for NZ$1000 (AUS$890), not sure if they had a manifold.

Too bad I'm out of dosh or I would have looked at the gearboxes and bonnet...gezzzz

The search continues...

You cant walk down the street these days without tripping over a rusted old 260Z 2+2 in Melbourne, why not NZ too? :(

From my browser's History;

It's from the Auckland T&E so the prefix for the phone number should be 09 so... theoretically the number is +64 9 446 6915
