Not somehting you would put on a show car, but mean looking! Lots of racers use them. Can't beat the price. Yes, they are a tad heavy, but not much. Here is what I have in my garage right now

Steve, are you running 15x8's on your 280z? What is the backspacing on them? Any mods to the fenders and/or suspension?

I'll check out Diamond for 16" wheels. That is my preference, but hard to find in the 4x4-1/2" pattern.

It is no problem getting Diamonds in 4X113.4 or 4X114.3 or whatever it is!!! 4 1/2!

No modifications to the fenders, but it is a 280, so it sits a bit higher naturally.... I have lowered it about 2+ inches. The backspace is 4 3/8". It might need to be different for 16".

Coming to Solvang?

I am going to put them on my '75 280z that is completely dealer/factory stock. Well the radio isn't stock.:classic:

I've seen on this site that it's not a good idea to go deeper than 4" with the backspacing unless you go with coilovers. So you haven't experienced any problems? If not, I wonder if it's because of differences with the 280z setup.

BTW Diamonds 16" wheels are N/A.

Ya know Steve, I was looking at those Inertia Advantage wheels that Bassett has. They'd make a good wheel on a race car don't ya think? Only 20lbs for a 15x10 and they are cheap compared to an alloy wheel......

Let's see, Z32 brakes and hubs on the bottom of a 280 strut.....

What's the bolt circle on the 5 lug Z32's anyways?

Might have to do some work to get them to a 5x5 lug pattern:ermm:

Yeah, and 17lbs for 15X8. If you can get to the Neckar pattern somehow, your choices in steel wheels skyrocket. Of course, they aren't 13 lb wheels, but they are $60 each! I don't know exactly what Z32 pattern is either, but I am sure one of the places who make 5-bolt hat conversions could just as easily make one in 5X5. I won't mention either of the places by name...Mr. 13 can come here and tell us who they are.

Still, if I hadn't decided to have a motor built and new 44's and all that $$ crap, this is what I would be getting. Half the price of CCW or CCC or CWC or whatever they are calling themselves this week, and half the price of Kodiak and .....? $250 or so ain't bad!
