Why waste $ on turbo when...?

Hey Guys haven't you figured it out, the only performance MODs that truely do anything are bolted to the outside of the car or are chrome plated, made of carbon fiber, or flamed! These are the three food groups for cars. !

Look at all of the money you have wasted on stuff nobody will see! Forged pistons, Porting and polishing, Ignition, Urethane! What were you thinking? ...I can't believe you guys are this back_sswards! Everyon knows it is better to look cool than to be cool! Speed is relative, if it looks fast, it must be. What the hell is a wolf in sheeps clothing? Whoever said that there is no substitute for cubic inches had never been introduced to body kits and Forgers can exhausts!

No wonder you guys have such slow cars! It is pretty bad when my Honda civic (NOT EVEN A SPORTS CAR)can beat your Z(A TRUE SPORTS CAR) as long as they are both parked and I'm in front. Damn!

The only performance parts that truely do anything are those that are bolted on the outside? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. You got one thing right though. The true performance parts are those that you can see. When that Z car lining up at the start line beside you takes off and you seeZ that cars rear and you seeZ and eats his dust.

Performance first and then coZmetics. What's the point of having a Z car that looks like a million buckZ but cannot even start. A true racer worrieZ about cosmetics last unless the damage to the exterior/body is so bad that it's killing your performance. So remember, you might not see the pistons, cams, valve, and the porting and polishing, but you iZ gonna see the rear of the other Z when you iZ getting burned

l_ortega99, I hope you understood I was making the same point you did. Most exterior stuff only empties your wallet faster, and it usually makes the car slower by adding drag and weight to a car that is already aerodynamicly challenged, and in need of a diet! "Go fast goodies" are usually the evident under power only, and not while sitting in trafic with the license plate rattleing to then overdriven beat agonizing everyone else in earshot!

Sorry some people dont know the definition.. so yeh

Yeah what he said........

A fast car that has been thought out is NOT rice.

Especially the 500hp Neon SRT-4 vid i saw the other day, definitely not rice.

Still not my cup of tea though.

That ebay auction hits the definition of Rice perfectly.

Howdy all im new here but ive just read your discussion on ricers and how external mods really do make your car go faster :stupid: the best way to prove that they dont is buy absolutely flogginf them off the lights.

I really do enjoy pulling upto the lights and some fool in a really done up civic or toyota just sits there revving. by the time they are in third gear usually im 3/4 of the way through first and in front unless they have a turbo. (i have the 3 spd auto on the end of my mildly worked L28)

They can spend as much money on their cars as they want. i will always enjoy the load roar of my datto over any 5 inch mufflers drone usually followed by a brap sound upon gear change.

Anyway GO THE DATTO
