I think the price depends on the rust of the car.

i pick up mine for a grand but there was some rust and it wasn't running till 2grand later. Tires, brakes, FI, suspension stuff.

I think being patient in the long run will get you the best price.:D

Depends on where you are, too. Looks like you're in CA, so you'll have better luck then those of use back in the rust belt. Previous posters are right, though. Rust will determine the price. In CA, a run of the mill, daily driver 280Z with little or no rust should probably be $2-$3K.
