BlueZee Posted February 16, 2004 Share #1 Posted February 16, 2004 Here it is (price is still good, I wonder for how long?):http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3588064882I have exactly the same model, silver Kyosho 1/18. Outstanding quality!Les
2ManyZs Posted February 16, 2004 Share #2 Posted February 16, 2004 The Kyosho's are THE best when it comes to detail and quality that I've seen so far. But, beware of the last minute bidders....although this is the LHD model that has been discontinued. You can still get the yellow LHD model here, you'll have to go to the third page: http://www.die-cast-models.com/listings/main_venkyo.html I guess it's worth a bit more than the 60 dollars for the yellow model since there is only one of the two colors offered in the LHD, but how much more is up to the person bidding. Tower still has the rallye cars available as well.
BlueZee Posted February 17, 2004 Author Share #3 Posted February 17, 2004 Here is another one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3587131787 Good price, and still no bids. Strange. Les
kyteler Posted February 17, 2004 Share #4 Posted February 17, 2004 Does anyone else find it weird that the last one mentioned says "Brand new in un-opened box" yet.. the picture shows the car sitting all on it's own without a box to be seen.Obviously this could mean that he has more than one car and is shwoing the one that isn't in a box, still though... they make no mention to indicate that. 2ManyZs Posted February 19, 2004 Share #5 Posted February 19, 2004 I was wondering the same thing Kyteler, so I bid on the first one...:devious: hehe, got it for $49.50......:classic: I was really expecting a lot more bidding on it since it has been discontinued for quite a while. kyteler Posted February 19, 2004 Share #7 Posted February 19, 2004 There's a 1:18 Scale Kyosho '11' 1971 Safari Rally Car for sale on one of the NZ auction websites. I think the 'Buy Now' is $150NZD Unfortunately I have other things that require money more urgently than my meager model collection.
2ManyZs Posted February 19, 2004 Share #8 Posted February 19, 2004 Wow, that's a high price on the Ralley car.....That one is still available, and by the Tower Hobbies site it's about 84NZD (60US) not including shipping.I'm planning on adding one of the two ralley cars later, and maybe the maroon ZG model and then call it quits for a while, by then, I should be able to work on the real one sitting in the shop. Alfadog Posted February 19, 2004 Share #11 Posted February 19, 2004 Nice! You certainly won't be disappointed with the Tomica Limited Prince - very good quality if you haven't got one already!
axelr8 Posted February 20, 2004 Share #12 Posted February 20, 2004 Ive found a few 240z models that some guy in jap put together. I think they look amazing. That red one has a custom front airdam that the guy made from putty.
