Posted February 17, 200421 yr comment_68751 hey guys,im looking for both of these cars for a little project im cooking up. For the 280z:it can be an auto or a manual, must have a straight framedents/dings/ some rust okfor the 280zx:must be an 81-82 turbo(does not have to run)has to have a 5 speed (original)body/rust damage oki dont want to travel too far for either of these cars, maybe 6 hours from portland oregon, until this summer when ill travel to most anywhere. if the same person has both these cars, that would be ideal, but definately not neccisary. Im looking to spend less than 2 grand for both these cars. I know that isnt a lot, but im not looking for mint cars, they dont even have to run. Also, they are pretty specific, but let me know what you have, we can talk. thanksmy AIM name is: pdxventojason Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10225-wtb-280z-and-a-280zx-turbo/ Share on other sites

It's got a little bit of rust around one of the tail lights, but is otherwise rust free. It has one small dent on the driver's rear side, but it's only cosmetic damage (my room mate was backing up and scraped it across the bumper of a U-Haul). No accidents, straight frame. 10 year old Kenwood stereo system. Gold paint with tan interior. I was hoping to get $1300 for it, but that price is up for a bit of negotiation. (Make me an offer, since you're on a budget.)Basically, I had to get a new car (an automatic) after I broke my leg a while back, and I hate to see my old Z just sitting in the driveway. It's not perfect, and could use some TLC, but it's in remarkably good shape for having 300,000 miles on it. Even if it's going to get chopped, I'd just as soon someone use it rather than letting it rot. >maybe 6 hours from portland oregonI'm in the Seattle area, so figure 3 hours each way, give or take. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get some pictures. E-mail stefancf@saintly.com for more information.
