Posted February 22, 200421 yr comment_69451 After a 12 year absence I'm back in a Z. First one I called on was in WA. for a 1977 no rust, but needed work. I offered to buy the car but he wouldn't sell because I live in Ct. and he will not get any repair business from me. He ownes a parts/repair business which he said has been declining along with the number of Z cars. I could not belive this ,tried to reason again but same answer. So I bought a San Diego 1977 Z with a nissan crate motor, front ed struts/bushings, rebuilt tranny, refurbished interior , and some rocker panel rust (sweating that one out) for 2,600. And yes I missed the LAS VEGAS Z convention by 2 days because of the wife's schedule. I went to look for a Z ,she was there on business. ( she's lucky the dog can' t cook). Anyway the car is in AZ. on it's way , just looking for any opinions (prayers)thanks.
