Posted February 23, 200421 yr comment_69563 Hi all, been lurking in the shadows for 2 years and have finally started my 76 280et project. I'm looking for a 300Zx turbo diff in Canada .(hopefully)I may have found one in a wreckers, but he's asking my if it's a manual or auto, and saying 87 only. Ithought 87 to 89 any trans fit. Can anyone shed some more light on this before I dive in further? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10340-300zx-turbo-diff/ Share on other sites
February 23, 200421 yr comment_69598 I got mine thru the junkyard network, had it shipped from the east coast to the west coast and ended up paying $325. I was told to ask for 87-89 300ZX Turbo 5-speed. Since then I've heard lots of people talk about this, no one else has ever made the manual or automatic distinction.I can say that a manal will be an LSD, just not sure about the auto.Jon Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10340-300zx-turbo-diff/#findComment-69598 Share on other sites

February 27, 200421 yr comment_70305 4/87 -89 build date turbos had the clutch type limited slip. The '88 shiro edition had the viscous not recommended with the mods you will have to do to make it work.
