kats Posted February 27, 2004 Author Share #13 Posted February 27, 2004 Hi Victor Laury, Yeah, I need to get them replated in someday. And I found SRL has an unique wire clamp for almost every hoses. For S30, this unique clamp can be seen at fuel tube between SUs and fuel metal pipes.Recently I saw HLS30-00476 in japan(maby some of you know, it came from california)it has this clamp for fuel line. To compair photos,SRL was applied unique clamps for most of hoses, ealry S30(espesialy this press photo failady-ZL)was applied unique clamps and ordinaly clamps half and half. Then unique clamps was used only for fuel lines. This is my guessing. I think next stage I have to do difficult charange for this unique clamp. kats

TomoHawk Posted February 28, 2004 Share #21 Posted February 28, 2004 Is that the same resevoir tank (vapor tank) on the 280Z?
Bambikiller240 Posted February 28, 2004 Share #22 Posted February 28, 2004 That is an early 1970 fuel vapor tank. It was superceded by a metal tank of a different shape at some point prior to late 1971 production dated cars. I suspect that it was changed again when the FI 280Z's came out , although that is just my assumption based on looking at 280Z interior panels. kats Posted April 4, 2004 Author Share #23 Posted April 4, 2004 Hi, My 240Z is now in a local nissan dealer hangar. The owner run the shop by himself and his family. He usealy sells new nissan cars and does maintenace/some major and minor works for cars. Also he is restoring SRL311 for his hobby.Oneday I saw the SRL311 through the small showroom on the way home,I made a stop to talk to him and I decided to ask him detailing of my 240Z. I show the photo of a hose clamp, this was used for the vacum hose showing in the earliest service manual. kats
