Posted February 24, 200421 yr comment_69766 While I was checking the http://www.traderonline.com/ website I came across this car:http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/1/0/65769510.htmIt is HLS30465577 and to my surprise when I opened the pictures it is a Black Pearl car. If you check out the ad pics (the rear of the car) you can see the stripes and the factory (dealer most likely) louvers. The front end pictures also show the factory stripe kit. It looks as though the owner doesn't realize what he has. It's a shame the car is on the West Coast. February 24, 200421 yr comment_69802 Beisdes the picture of the rear which shows way too much rust as Ed noted, was anyone able to get any of the other pictures to load? For me, the front view wouldn't expand and the other two didn't even show. February 25, 200421 yr comment_69856 This thing look like it's been sitting out in a field for about 10 years! Better check the interior for dead mice! February 25, 200421 yr Author comment_69916 It's a shame the owner didn't take better care of this car. He probably didn't know what he had or he would have taken better care of it. I would guess he's not the original owner. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10377-78-black-pearl-for-1000/#findComment-69916 Share on other sites
February 25, 200421 yr comment_69922 The engine looks like it's in better (just a little) shape than the body. Does it even start? I'd be afraid if I sat in the seat, I'd go through the floorboard.
