I thought I had one too but I looked and all I could find is the vertical mount radio from a 1600 Roadster I once owned. That old Hitachi 8 track is around here somewhere! I have had it for over 30 years! It came out of the 72 Z I once owned.

I'm not sure of the correct names but I believe "Ricky don't lose that number" and "Josie" are two great Steely Dan tunes that come to mind.

I have the Greatest Hits CD, but I can't find it right now. I'll try and look for it.

'Gaucho' just misses the cut (1980). They disbanded after that. Donald Fagen did some solo albums (Nightfly, Kamakiriad) late 80s-early 90s and Walter Becker did a solo album (11 Tracks of Whack) unsure of year, it wasn't very good. Fagen and Becker reunited as Steely Dan in 2000 for 'Two Against Nature' and did 'Everthing Must Go' in 2003. There are some collection albums, 'Citizen Steely Dan', 'Steely Dan's Greatest Hits', and 'Steely Dan-Live In America'.

It occured to me that I had read a similar thread here last year. So I searched and found it. Mike started a thread called 'Driving Music' last May. Reading through it I came wonder how we could have gone this far without mentioning ZZ Top?

Yeah, ZZTop is high on my list, so is Skynard, Jackson Browne (especially Running on Empty), Steve Miller, 38 Special,Huey Lewis, with a little Bonnie Raitt and Joe Cocker too...

I think the original radios are one of the hardest things to find because that's normally the first thing people change when they get the car.
