PrOxLaMuS© Posted February 29, 2004 Share #4 Posted February 29, 2004 you know you can attach all three pics on one thread...just 3 different reply's / posts But great find! What year is it?Any rust? Engine still running?
Stormracer Posted February 29, 2004 Author Share #5 Posted February 29, 2004 It is a 72! It runs, needs some tweaking. Carbs are kind of gummed up at the moment. So will clean, change oil, plugs etc. Just one little spot of rust about 2" x 2". All in all pretty decent shape.
sblake01 Posted March 1, 2004 Share #6 Posted March 1, 2004 Well, that beats me. I paid $275 for my 78 in 1997. Including the purchase price I am still under the $2K mark.

ScoHo Posted March 14, 2004 Share #9 Posted March 14, 2004 That is an outstanding deal... Just the parts in your picture would cover your investment several times over. Great that its a runner for such a small price. I would have purchased it even with no means to store it. Well done!
datto_240z Posted March 14, 2004 Share #10 Posted March 14, 2004 I wish I lived in the USA. So I could go out and buy a 240z anyday for less than $1000:sleepy: Where I am they are as rare as hens teeth and over $5000!:sleepy: Even 260z 2+2's! Now that makes ME a sad panda!:stupid: Great deal! Looks pretty good too!Cheer'z'Chris
sblake01 Posted March 14, 2004 Share #11 Posted March 14, 2004 Chris, this is the exception rather than the rule. I wasn't looking for my Z when I found it. I actually got into a bidding war with a kid that wanted to buy it. The PO only waned $200 originally. He didn't know what he had and just wanted it out of his yard.
