Knowledge about 05L Head off L20 Turbo

Hi guys,

I'm curious about this, there's a JDM C110 in my local wreckers, it has an L20 Turbo in it and I finally got around to checking the head number on it :stupid: and was disturbed when I found '05L' so I rushed home and performed a search in the hope that someone may know. There was only a thread that contained HKSZ mentioning it a couple of times with general interest and confusion.

I was wondering whether anyone could shed some light on the situation. Alan or kats perhaps ?? Is it a good head to be worked on? Worth the bother?

The only problem is the guy will only sell the complete engine, and it's been there for years and years but if it's worth the time it's something I could think a bit more seriously about getting.
