March 2, 200421 yr comment_70935 Hey James, Good info. on the K. You do have something a little wrong about the 240Z though. In the USA the 240Z was standard with a 4 speed manual. The 240 didn't have auto trans untill 1972 and then it was and option not standard. That is what went down in the good old USA, I have no idea what happend on your little island:D . But, If your driving an L6 your a friend of mine. good times and good driving, even in a 240KROFL .Matt- Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10498-auto-conversion-now-overheating/?&page=2#findComment-70935 Share on other sites
March 3, 200421 yr Author comment_70940 No worries Matt! I should have re-phrased 'standard fitment' to mean available as an auto, thats what I meant! :classic: Yep they're good motors thats for sure, I've been travelling regularly interstate with these engines for 9 years or so, routinely check service items such as plugs, timing, carbs etc etc and they go forever, very strong as well, they don't mind towing large trailers for 2000klms at a time!:rambo: I'm getting my hands on a digi cam tomorrow, I'l post pics of my finished car once a few pics are taken.
