Posted March 4, 200421 yr comment_71168 Z Doctor fiberglass air dam. This air dam was once on our 240Z but change to different type to make trailer loading easier. It is black fiberglass no chips, cracks, or damage. Has rubber flap along bottom edge. Duct opening for brake cooling or other. Make me an offer, I'm in Chino, Calif. Will deliver if local or bring it to the MSA Z car show on Sunday. Craig Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10551-z-doctor-airdam/ Share on other sites
March 4, 200421 yr Author comment_71169 Here is back side. There are 2 air duct connections per side. The red is just tape that I have on it to block of one of the ducts, can be pulled off. Great shape. Craig Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10551-z-doctor-airdam/#findComment-71169 Share on other sites

March 5, 200421 yr comment_71281 I have the exact same air dam, complete with Z doctor badge inside, I got it from a guy parting out an IT car, I paid $20 for mine, and $200 for the suspension from the same car and $50 for the SU's, guess he needed the space Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10551-z-doctor-airdam/#findComment-71281 Share on other sites
March 5, 200421 yr comment_71330 Me thinks a WCZR decal would look pretty good on that. March 5, 200421 yr Author comment_71344 Ookay Bestus buddy, what are we talking about here? Yes I agree a WCZR decal would look good on serveral different places. Speaking of decals, my computer lazer engraver buddy is working on a logo for his business Sundance Engraving and also Karr Industrial Products to sport on our car. I will then see about getting them cut from Fast Signs. They are located everywhere. Have you got any farther with the WCZR artwork? I'm trying to get this car re-decorated by MSA show.I have a person looking at the airdam this weekend. So, do you need an airdam? March 5, 200421 yr Author comment_71345 Evildky, Wow, Realistate must have been expensive to blow out at that cost. Cool deal. I supprised you have one too! With the right duct work in place you can do some major cooling. The one I have now doesn't have as good of ducts. :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10551-z-doctor-airdam/#findComment-71345 Share on other sites

March 6, 200421 yr Author comment_71440 A little history on the air dam, Dave & Patty Vanek operated a Datsun Z mail order business back in 1975, and this type of air dam was used thru the 80s. Since then they have been selling after market equip. for SUVs and their business is now called Explorer Express. Now that the Zeds are a hot item again maybe they will get back into furnishing things for us Zed Heads?I would imagine they sold for about $125 to $150 new? I currently have the Xenon Ureflex air dam, it sells for about $170. I was hoping to get $65. for this Z Doctor air dam, or best offer? Nothing is wrong with it, looks pretty cool, light weight and works good. I was storing it as a back up, but too much back up stuff.
