I am looking for an LD28 crank to build a stroker motor with. Does anyone out there have one, or know of one for sale?

I know someone who is selling one for $350

There are two Maxima diesels at the Ecology in Rialto but that's in California. They seem to be somewhat available as I have seen a few over the last couple of years in the Pick a Parts, Ecologys, etc. They are about 40 bucks if you pull one yourself at a self service wrecker.

What is the contact info for the person selling the crank for $350?

Unfortunately I don't think going to California to pull the crank is possible. $40 is a darn good price though.

I think I'll start pulling these things when I see them. There seems to be more than a casual interest in them. I come across them fairly often.

Knowing that they are fairly heavy how much do you think it would be to ship these?

I currently have some money saved so I'd be ready for one but if not for a while I'll blow my money on something else .

I'd have to do some research on the weight but shipping from Southern California to Australia? Do you really think it would be worth it?

It's unfortunate I know but in Australia I rarely see any for sale i think I've seen one and the guy wanted $1200 and to me it's not worth that much money.

I will try find out how much things like this cost to ship out maybe I can get a few guys to buy one and shipping in bulk could be cheaper who knows???

If you were going to do a heavy, bulk order from overseas I'd say you'd be better off getting some LSD's at the same time as well!! You'd get a fair interest in them too I'd say. Count me in if someone wants to look at this as an option.

Yes Gee $880 is pricey if you can pass on the info that would be great. I might see if I can get the price down a little but seeing as these are getting rarer I don't think they will be getting cheaper soon.
