March 4, 200421 yr comment_71209 Don't take this as gospel but, logic says yes the exhuast manifold will bolt up to the head and yes the injectors will fit. Also, it's more than likely the turbo injectors are bigger than the std EFI. Remember, this is not based on my experience. I have SU's. I'm sure you will get more responces to your post. March 5, 200421 yr comment_71255 You will have to swap an entire turbo engine in from the 280zx turbo (L28et) to do this resonably. from Hybrid Z site..... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10555-turbocharging/#findComment-71255 Share on other sites
March 5, 200421 yr comment_71259 You would be much better off switching engines and harnesses and the computer and fuel pump and the other associated things, then trying to turbo your N/A motor. March 5, 200421 yr comment_71317 I agree with Zmefly, if you don't want to get into your engine, then put the whole turbo engine in your car. Everything will fit, and the factory, Chiltons, or Haynes engine trouble shooting will still apply! I have an '82 turbo engine running on the ECM and wiring from a '77 it runs well NOW! Save your time and energy for driving, move the whole thing, engine, ecm and harness! Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10555-turbocharging/#findComment-71317 Share on other sites
March 5, 200421 yr comment_71319 I've thought of doing that to my 810 daily driver. Imagine what a 'sleeper' it would be! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10555-turbocharging/#findComment-71319 Share on other sites

March 14, 200420 yr comment_72545 You could get those numbers with a STOCK bottom end. But, you will need more fuel, AFPR, bigger injectors, bigger turbo, good ic, 60mm tb, and I would suggest at least the Z31 ecu maf swap.
