Hiy people, I am buying/last miniute bidding the car on the ebay. Please click below:

Excellent condition with only 70,000 orignal miles. 5 Speed manual High Performance fuel injected 300 horsepower 6 cylinder engine Z Tech block. Looks like a typical Ebay scam to me.

1. Does he offer documentation that the car was ever owned by BSR?

2. If it were a race car, it would more than likely have been raced in Showroom Stock, as any other class would have had so many modifications that it would be nearly impossible to remove them without leaving evidence. I see no evidence of any type, such as roll cage removal.

It might have an engine built by a Z specialty shop, but that doesn't make it a BSR car. Anyone can put a BSR valve cover on their car and make all sorts of false claims. The engine bay looks too original to be anything other than a modified street car.

No one in their right minds would put traction bars on an IRS car.:stupid:

There's only one way to know the cars history, do a Carfax report on the VIN, contact BSR directly, and make him show proof of his claim.

Before you bid, ask for the documentation. I would be amazed to find this car as the seller says. One quick internet search "Bob Sharp Racing" will give you a list of sites to visit including a club.

Here is a photo of what Bob Sharp Racing 280Z's looked like. I would imagine these cars are in collector hands and just think of this logically. No one would put an authentic Bob Sharp racer with racing heritage back on the street.

Most likely it was sold by a Bob Sharp Datsun dealership, at best!

The race track it is just off is most likely the local autocross parking lot.

How many CP or GTU z's had fuel injection? Cassette players? Air-conditioning? No roll cage? No fuel cell?

Well, maybe one if you believe what is advertised on E-bay.

What happened to the full race cage that all BSR cars had?

Not that Im picky but come on 300hp from stock electronics, let me see that DYNO SHEET!!

I would guess you could contact some of the old Team Members to verify the VINs used by the team during it's racing seasons, and I bet they can account for every one.

Hmm I guess I must have 8 grand laying around for a valve cover.

ROFL ROFL ROFL

"Interior was completely updated to allow for multiple seating and street use and this was done one year ago. Please note there is a tear on the driver's seat."

That doesn't make sense!! That is a 280z with a valve cover and a fart can. Oh well.

Yeh... I think its a fake and im a 15 year old that lives in the most isolated city in the world(Perth)! I love those wheels though! And if it were an ex-race car the owner should have some memrabilia, knowledge of races it had won(come on, it would have won a fair few, it is a ZROFL )! It wouldnt have the big-@$$ 280z bumpers on it etc etc. And why on earth would you want to destroy a x-race car completely to sell it, It would cost a couple of arms and more than enough legs!

Cheer'z'

Chris

With the description this guy gives on this "BSR" 280Z, one might tend to think he makes his living as a campaign manager. Basically, he provides a great line of Bull S_ _t!!! I just love the way the "Z Police" (the good folks on this sight that know their stuff about Z casrs) hack these poor fools to death. You just can't pull the wool over the eyes of the "Z Police". Be forwarned...we will search and destroy all bogus Z adds. Resistance is futile....you will be assimilated into the collective Z !!!
