Can't blame it on the vehicle, it was the idiot behind the wheel that caused it.

You're lucky in one way, it only got the hood, it could have been lower and got the bumper, headlight buckets, hood and buckled the fenders.:ermm:

Still sucks though. :disappoin

Just like the shopping cart I found in the door of my pickup, left a nice little dent and scratch cuz someone was too damn lazy to push their damn cart into the rack.

Eeeuuuurghghh thats enough to make a grown man cry

Sorry to hear that. A similar thing happened with my dad, he just had his Alfa Spider painted (an awesome metallic black) and we were having lunch, the sparkling car looking like new parked by the side of the road. 1 Minivan and 3 overexcited kids later, a big dent and scratch in the rear quarter.

:dead:

Yep this happened to me also. I parked my car out the front of work and someone drove into the bonnet not as bad as that. I had to get a vented one as here in Australia a straight non vented 1 is as rare as hens teeth. So i got it painted, then a week later again someone hit it and the bumper had to be replaced.

No note noboy saw anyone so i parked it at the back from then on.

Still unhappy with the vented bonnet and the paint job I finally got my hands on a good bonnet i am planning to find a good painter and fix that up.

so around $1500 all up it will be back to normal :disappoin .

Good luck and don't go to a crap body shop.

My 2cents.

Dave, does the "club" have a video camera on the parking lot that you can check out. If so, it would be worth while to take a look at for plate numbers that will give a positive I.D on who hit your car.

I don't about Washington state, but in California "hit and run" is a serious matter. I'd sure be alot less upset if this happened to me and the moron that did this to took responsibility and notified me if this happened to my car. As it stands now I'd have NO MERCY on the coward! This "hit and run" crap happens way too much.

I hope you have a fast and complete recovery from this.

there is no camera, I know the owners of the club, and they said that a parking lot camera is in the works.

But the good news is, A friend of mine says she knows the truck and would recognize the guys that were in it.

they made some comments to her as they were getting into the truck, just before they she went in to meet me and my girlfriend in the club.

So she is going to fill out a report for me and the local P.D.

I will catch the S.O.B.!!! Even if it takes a while, I got nuttin but time when it come to catching the Idiot that hurt my baby.

And he will pay, One way or the other........

With a vengful eye,

Dave.
