Corbeau Seat

Chino 240Z

Recommended Posts

Corbeau seat available for $25. I paid over $300 each for my new ones. This one is clean. There is some of the material pulling out from under the plastic seat belt trim around the left side belt hole. Otherwire no tears or stains.

Here are some pics. First come first serve.:classic:

How much is shipping to Texas, 78613? Is the seat a fixed position or adjustable (recline)? If the shipping is reasonable I'll take it.

Does this come ready to mount in my Z (i.e. any/all mounting hardware, rails, sliders, etc)?

Seat is a fixed, not recline type but, I purchased adjustable track mounts from a Corbeau distributor when I got the new ones since we have 2 dirvers. This one was bolted up thru the floor or (onto track mounts) into the seat. The seat has threaded holes in the bottom and an anchor tab on the top area to attach to cage if you have one, or cut off tab. The seat is fiberglass inside so it is very light. I will look into shipping charges and let you know.

Here is another front pic.

Come to think of it, yea, it was bolted thru the stock seat mounts that are on the floor. It sits a little lower than stock, but the PO had to drill two new holes in the stock mount to install not thru the floor. Or do like I did and use a piece of Uni-strut U-rail to space between the stock mounts and the bottom of the seat. I remember it was a tight hand squeeze removing the bolts from the floor mounts. That is why I used Uni-strut channel to space 1.5" up from stock mounts and it made installtion easier. I mount the Uni-strut rail to the stock floor mounts then the seat to the rails. Of course I measured and pre-drilled all the holes then installed.

Sorry, it was the safety harness eyebolts that went thru the floor, not the seat bolts.

Anyhow, yes you would need to do some measuring and hole drilling to install. If you get the adapter slide rails from Corbeau the holes line up from stock holes to seat holes.

Hey for $25 bucks, the seat is a steal, but there is some install work to do.

If texasz backs out on this seat, I'll take it. Shipping would be about the same as I'm 70 miles south of him. Zip is 78249.

I can have Paypal money sent in no time. Let me know, my original seats aren't taking to the harness very well.

Dang me, Wish I had a 1/2 dozen of these things to go around. Sorry I haven't posted on this seat. Been busy dealing with other seats, rims, air dams, and other stuff. But the Corbeau seat is spoken for at this time. If there should be a problem I will repost info. to continue. Thank you for everyones interest and help with this.

Regards Craig.
