Posted March 10, 200420 yr comment_72041 Howdy guys, I'm ready to buy a set of beefy sway bars, only have the front stock on my 72....I am interested only in getting a rear sway bar that mounts to the suspension, that doesn't require any holes to be drilled in the chassis....heh, my car has enough rust holes in it already!Do the MSA sway bars come like this? Any help would rock, thanks guys.--dog Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10653-need-susp-mounting-rear-sway-bar-where-to-buy/ Share on other sites
March 10, 200420 yr comment_72060 The MSA bars DO require drilling the chassis.Ground Control sells a set that mounts to the suspension.I believe (not 100% sure tho) that the Suspension Techniques bars also mount to the suspension. March 10, 200420 yr comment_72080 Has any one else, running an aftermarket rear bar, had the mounting points on the lower control arms fail? Mine pulled out like bad teeth. I had them re-welded, but the welder express doubts wether it would hold up. He suggested a fitted reinforcement for the pocket in the arm.Is it just me and my gonzo driving style?
