New Website PACKED With Z Stuff

Recommended Posts

I have just finished sorting through a TON of Z stuff I got from a member on one of the forums I'm a member of and have decided that there's so much good stuff there I'd share it with this Z community.

What's there you as? There are tons of pix, some video clips, and lots of info in the form of copied webpages scans of manuals and scans of Z car ads from days gone by. There's just SO much there you'll :surprised

If you have something you'd like to contribute please email or PM me; or you can reply to this thread. I'm not going to start hosting everyone's pix or video clips but if you have something of interest I'll gladly add it to my library thus making it available to all.

It's not a pretty page, just a directory listing of what I have. Here's the link to My Z Archive/Library

Please feel free to copy/download anything you want.

I do not claim credit for anything I have acquired nor do I claim to have verified it's accuracy.

ENJOY!!!

I have not had any feedback nor any requests to add anything to my library. I'm just curious if people are finding this page useful, helpful, interesting, or a waste of bandwidth. Please let me know because if nobody wants it I'll save myself the bandwidth and just remove it from my web server.

I looked at it and it looks like you've got a lot of useful information there. One thing that would be quite helpful would be to create a simple HTML page with properly organized links to the data. The current directory structure makes navigation a bit difficult.

texasz,

Thanks for putting all of that Z stuff on the web! I haven't had a chance to look through all of it as of yet. I did have a question about your 240Z though, was it titled as a '71 or a '70? The reason I ask is I am attempting to convince the owner of an 08/70 240Z that is in her best interest to sell her 240Z. The car in question is an 08/70 and I do not have the chassis number as of yet. Her Z has been off the road since late '78 or early '79 as best I can tell and the engine is seized but, the body is in solid shape and the structural members are sound. She took it to a shop to get an estimate of what it would take to bring the car back to life and I think she is in sticker shock.

Thanks for any info.

Yes, this did cross my mind but it took many hours just to organized this infomation to begin with (I wish I could remember where I got it all so I could thank the person) and I just really don't have the time right now to do the html page. I agree though, it would make the presentation much nicer. If anyone's interested in contributing to this page by writing the html I certainly would not turn away the help but until I have some time to do it the current directory structure will have to do.

I am glad to see that there is good info there that others can use, my knowledge is still remedial about these cars but I'm learning more all the time and am very glad to be able to give something back to the Z community in exchange for all the help and questions I've had (and will continue to have). :classic:

For starters, you could thank me for some of the pictures. You might better be careful lest you wizz someone off by using their pictures. Great idea. Great amount of work. Great copywrite liability issue.
