Well i finally happened,

After looking round for nearly 2 months i finally found a 260z. Its a awsome ride and looks a treat. I managed to talk to guy down in price as well which is always a treat. Now the Goodies

Out of interest, here's a little vid of my zed vs. matt's zed at the drags a month or so ago. Mine is (obviously) the really slow one with the shocking reaction time.

Was pretty cool having them both there though. It's rare enough to see two zeds in the same place at the same time here, let alone two identical looking 260z's racing each other. Btw, matt's was running ~14.4, mine around ~16.7.

The Pics are coming dont worry, have been busying myself doing little bits here and there. Getting some new sticky front tyres soon.

Who do you go through for your spares? There are some little things i want for the interior that are hard to find (ie the little chrome caps on the arms rests.

Hmmm I wouldn't know who to get such little interior bits from, other than other zed owners with parts cars. Speaking of which, I might just have a 2+2 parts car soon. Will let you know.

Sounds great, i went to Midwest Spares and they had a spare called a Handle Escutcheon (chrome), i have no idea what that is. Once i get this thing my interior will be perfect (aside from the always pending red recaro's ).

Are you gonna sell the spares from the 2+2 or are you gonna use it for your own car?

The "Handle Escutcheon (chrome)" I believe is the interior backing piece behind the door relase lever, normailly gets scratched or cracked. Held in by a little screw.

I normally call it a door handle thingo. :stupid:

BTW is that something they meke, or they just have a spare?

I'll have to check it's condition before I decide that. But from what I know of it so far, it's about a 90% chance it will be used for parts. So whatever I don't use, will be sold.
