tried to put on my 14 inch spare the other day and it doesnt fit becouse of my brake/suspension mods. im chasing a wheel 16 inches or bigger with standard datto stud pattern.

also has anyone got a decent blinker switch they want to sell? im about to go through rego and i cant turn left...

It's a shame you're not over here. I see those 16" temporary spares in the junkyard all the time in the trunk of those old RWD Maximas.

hehe yeah might be a bit counter productive to my bank account shipping a junkyard wheel across the pacific.

what year model Maxima had the temp spare? definitly 4 stud?

80 to 84 had them and I think even the 85-88 FWD had the same ones. 16"/4 x 4.5" (114.3mm)

I think i have spare blinker switch however by the time i posted it up to you and the fact that it's a 20year + old unit i don't think it's worth while because i think for about $10 i got a newer smaller one from my local parts store.

I know HELLA make one that suits the 240z but that one went sour on me and I had to give the unit a tap sometimes to work again. The one i got in their now can't remember the name but was definately $10 or under just pop into repco or something.

If no luck i will have a peek under my cars dash and tell u what brand and part no.

do you mean the little cylinder that makes the blinkers blink?

im after the stalk and guts that bolts onto the steering column. if your talking about the stalk you can get bits for them at repco?

nah i thought your cylinder was stuffed not the indicator stalk. Good luck with that one maybe a wreckers has it make sure it comes off a same year car .
