Posted March 21, 200421 yr comment_73610 Hey everyone, Im fairly new to Datsuns so i have a few questions. Well, im not "new" to datsun, because i have loved them for a long time, but i am and owner of one, which is new to me. Ok, my question is, where can i find high quality replacement panels for the body? Thanks, Tom Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10857-body-panels/ Share on other sites

April 10, 200420 yr comment_76287 Hi Tom, I got a pair of rear quarter patch panels from Tabco (tabcobodyparts.com) for under $60 each. On the invoice they are listed as Rear Wheel Arch, part numbers 16751-L and 16751-R. I don't mind pounding out dents or applying body filler, but I don't know how to weld, so I took my 240Z to a local body shop to install the patch panels. They turned out really nice. See the photo for how the passenger side looked. I finished the rest of the body work and painted the car in my garage with PPG's Omni AU line of paint. A previous owner had the car painted red, and I repainted it with an orange basecoat followed by several layers of clearcoat. I'd never painted a car before, and figured that since I bought the car for $300 I wouldn't be out too much if I messed it up. Fortunately it turned out rather nice! Kenny P.
