Motorsports Auto car show

I finally got the O.K. to go to the MSA show April 25th:D . I was wondering how many members are going? Is there a place we could all meet and get a club photo? Or just shoot the breeze.

Me too. But this year I think I'll just park and look. I don't like paying and then being parked on a side street with a bunch of beat up 510's etc. If this is a 'Z' show why not leave the Roadsters, 510s, trucks, etc. at home! (End of vent)

Another busy Datsun Weekend for me - Showing the roaster in Solvang on Saturday, Z car at MSA on Sunday.

Stephen, I'm guessing you paid at the door and/or arrived very near the close of registration. that side street is always the last to fill up, and I agree, that is a different crowd over there! Some of the 510's are incredible, but the Z's over there are usually the most decrepid varieties around! You need to arrive early (before 7) and/or come with a club.

I concur. Last year I thought we would get to the Sunday show pretty early (6:00am) so we could get a decent parking spot.......well, it wasn't early enough and was put out at the farthest end of the show......It felt like we were stuck out in the south fourty or something. Hell, you needed a GPS just to find the rest of the show......OK maybe that's exaggerating a little but you get the drift!!! Hey, wasn't that one heck of a line we were all in waiting to be parked........it definitely tested the batteries with the start stop, start stop, start stop!!! I did push my Z some. Oh well, I guess that's just part of a LARGE show. Looking forward to seeing some of you at the show on Sunday

Didn't MSA mention something about an improved system of getting the cars inside and parked? Sounds like an early, early morning get down there and wait?

I sure wish we were comming out this year, but it's not in the cards, what with the gas prices and all. Plus we went to the Z Car convention in New Hampshire in October. Sure would be nice to meet all you guys. Have a great time and maybe we'll make it out in 2005.
