My paint color! My 1972 240z has a STUPENDOUS spray-can yellow paint job, and it just has to go. I'll be replacing the floorpans, having a new lower rear panel put on, and replacing the rear bumper...so hell, why not add a coat of nice, shiny paint. Cast your votes!!!

The new 350Z Metallic Orange!

I'm with Enrique, 350z "lemans sunset"

Sorry, but I'd go with the factory orange. The first Z I fell in love with (my dad's) was orange and so is mine. They just need a new paint job, but it looks good when the paint is fresh.

You know I would have to say "Red", but that's a given. Anyway, when the 350Z first came out, there was this color which was kind of maroonish/brownish. Was it called Brickyard? That would look great on an early Z. I think Nissan only offered that color one year. But that "Lemans Sunset" is blindingly beautiful.

In the next week or so (hopefully) I'll be posting pictures of my '72 240Z sporting a nice new paint job. The color I've decided to go with is something I've seen on Mini Cooper's recently called "Electric Blue Pearl Metallic". The first time I saw it I knew it was the color for me. Here's what it looks like on the Mini:

Does anyone know if the new "lemans sunset" color on the '04 350Z the same as the orange on the '03 350Z? the lemans seems a bit lighter to me. Anyway, my vote would be for the lemans sunset or its potentially darker predecessor of the 2003 350Z.

I like the Intense Blue on my pickup, but since so many people have been painting their Z's blue lately, I think I'm going to go with either 920 Gold, or, a new Grey Pearl that Dodge has....

From your selection i chose red for obvious reasons but i agree with 2manyZs I like that shade of blue looks great on Z's. I think i'd like either that color or bright yellow if I was to paint my Z any color other than Red. Green can look cool also

Why don't you try Photoshop for changing the color of your car that can give you an idea maybe not a great idea but an idea.

If it were my car I would paint it the original orange. It is a great color for a Z. The other colors talked about would look great, but there is always a certain satisfaction by being able to say that you have the original paint color. If you were to paint it a different color red would look awesome, but 920 gold would look better.
