Do you know if the 4 lug, 4.50 inch bolt circle pattern that the Z has will work for honda and acura rims. I want to get rota slipstreams, but Don't know if they would fit my Z, but are made to fit honda's and acura's:confused:

Well, they might but I doubt it for a couple reason. I think the wheel stud size is different which would make the bolt circle just different enough the they would not fit on the Z pattern. Second, any wheel made for a front wheel drive application would have too much backspacing to be used on a Z.

I guess you could try one on your Z if you could find a dealer that would be willing to let you test fit one.

Sorry I can't give you a definate answer, I've never tried one and I don't have the info to make a comparison.

Someone last week posted a similar question about lug conversions and a website was given as a resource. www.modern-motorsports.com. This site has a little information regarding adaptors for a Z to a Honda bolt pattern which is listed as 4 x 100 or 4 x 4" for the Honda wheel. Maybe this will help you. If you email the site they should respond pretty quick. I was looking into Honda wheels as well and I got a respond about this adaptor in a day or two.

Well, I didn't know anyone made an adapter to fit the Honda wheels to a Z, but for the price ($210 a pair) I'd be tempted to abandon that idea. For what they cost you could almost buy a pair of wheels in the first place. Unless there is a style of wheel you just can't live without. Almost doubles the cost of a set of wheels.:eek: :sick:

your right 2ManyZs For the price of the adapters:eek: + rims:) + tires = an abandoned idea. I'll just stick to what I can get my hands on with any extra add ons like the adapters. Though rims are a bit plan but I did like them, but oh well. While on the subject of rims, any of you guys know of some fairly inexpensive rims that are out there for Z's other then panasports, centerline, and revolution that are sub $200 per rim

Kinda thought the adapter would be a bit much. It might be OK if you already had a set of the wheels and wanted to use them.

Take a look at www.americanracing.com on the second page of passenger car wheels they have one called the Vortec that is available in 14x6 or 15x7 in the correct pattern. They are 100 bucks or less manufacturers list price. Not a bad looking wheel for the price but don't know how they compare with what you wanted. Trying to find a decent looking wheel that fits and isn't too expensive is going to require some searching. Probably the best idea might be to go to a 15 inch wheel so you can have a little larger selection. Good Luck.

2ManyZs Thoughs aren't bad but I also see another measurement on thoughs. Don't know much about rims and was wondering would the 4x100 bolt circle size work for the Z or is it just the 4x4.5 bolt circle size

The only one that works is the 4x4.50, the 4x100 is the Honda pattern. Of course, we already know how that one works.

The only other thing you would need to find out is the offset, with a 15x7 you would need a zero offset or close to that to fit without any worries of rubbing. A 14x6 could use a little more offset but not too much or you may rub the fenders, especially if you lower the car at all. I have always tried to go with zero offset whenever possible.

Is it possible to run 16x7? What would I need to do to make them fit properly?
