Posted March 25, 200420 yr comment_74229 Has anyone ever heard of or seen this carb on a Z? In the Haynes manual it says "Early 240Z and 260Z cars without emission control are fitted with a 'DAF' dual barrel type carburettor. This unit is of downdraught, fixed jet design and incorporates an accelerator pump and power valve." The Brittish spelling leads me to believe that they were not equipped that way here. I could post pictures if anyone would like but this is basically just to satisfy my curiousity. March 25, 200420 yr comment_74233 My 1970 Factory Manual alludes to that type of carburetor of L20 & L24 engines. It appears to be a two barrel downdraft carb, but I haven't a clue as to where they were actually distributed. March 25, 200420 yr comment_74234 Non USA carb. Friend has a L20A engine in a RHD Z with that carb. Looks similiar to carb on 1977 200SX I used to have. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10922-daf-carbureator/#findComment-74234 Share on other sites
