March 31, 200421 yr comment_75063 RAZOR,Don't feel alone with your thoughts about wheel spacer cost!!! I felt the same way when I researched wheel spacers. However, I decided to build my own since I have access to the necessary tools and the experience to fab them. Even at that, the raw material (6061 T3) cost me about $90.00 (U.S.) from a surplus outlet. Anyway, if you have a mate who has the tools and can build them for you, do it. March 31, 200421 yr Author comment_75069 the bad news is that I dont know anyone who can do it for me free or cheapand i wouldnt do it myself as I want to leave that field to the professional as they got experience in doing those kinda things and if I make a slight mistake its my car and my life thats going to pay for that. Now I have to decide should I get the chrome rims or the spacer as I found some mags which looks really mad but for extra AU$600 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10984-wheel-stud-pattern-adapters/#findComment-75069 Share on other sites
April 1, 200421 yr comment_75118 better to get wheels to suit the datsun stud pattern than muck around with adaptors You do know that mitsubi toyota 4 stud mags fit datsun and later mazda re 82 onwards so you dont have to limit it your self to second hand datsun magsMust sy i had the opposite problem with my rx4 couldnt get any 15" rims cheap to rally so we drilled the back axles to datsun stud pattern and put datsun hubs on the frontThats probaly the best and cheapest way to change stud pattern drill and stud rear stub axles and fit front hubs to datsun hubs from car that suits the wheels but it is a lot of mucking aroundMick Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/10984-wheel-stud-pattern-adapters/#findComment-75118 Share on other sites
