HS30-H Posted March 31, 2004 Share #2 Posted March 31, 2004 The best gas for your car at the moment might well be Oxy-Acetylene or Argon ( as in Argon Arc Welding ).Maybe its you that needs the laughing gas and not the car.No offence intended:classic: Alan T. gema Posted April 1, 2004 Share #4 Posted April 1, 2004 Judging from the pics you posted...your car needs a little love before you should even be driving it, much less pushing it in the 1/4 mile. That being said...I know I'll have a 50 shot in mine once it's all said and done =D
WanganKid Posted April 2, 2004 Author Share #5 Posted April 2, 2004 only a 50 shot? Maybe your just being safe?! I thought these engines can handle at LEAST 75shot.My little 4 banger can handle 100HP! You can go 125 shot but thats like the max on stock engine! beandip Posted April 14, 2004 Share #8 Posted April 14, 2004 I went to the dyno shop for a local club's dyno day and one of the employes ran his Turbo Sentra . He had a nitrus set up but dident use it . Diden't have a bottle connected. turned 720Hp the first pull and cooled it down and then turned 740 Hp the next time. I don't know his name but you could call the shop and talk to him. the shop is Torque Freaks Portland Ore. :classic:
beandip Posted April 25, 2004 Share #9 Posted April 25, 2004 I was wondering about using nitrus my self . I was talking to one of the men at the speed shop and from what he was saying a 75 shot would be safe . I think it would be a great kick in the butt , no pun intended. Xargon321 Posted April 26, 2004 Share #10 Posted April 26, 2004 it was a supra Beandip . Or did he run a sentra after i left? twin turbo inline 6, one of those engines in a z woulds be fun and much easyer to get then a rb26tt probably not much fun mating it up tho
beandip Posted April 26, 2004 Share #11 Posted April 26, 2004 I just took a look at W kid's gallery picture . I think Allen's right some welding is in order big time before even thinking of speed. If the rest of the car looks anything like the picture , I am sorry .
Zrush Posted April 26, 2004 Share #12 Posted April 26, 2004 Summit has a "Cheater System" that has 4 hp levels controlled by flare jets, from 150 to 250 hp. I like the "Fogger" system myself. But IMO NOS is fake hp. A true beef engine is built from the inside out with no buttons to push later to give you boost. I'm sure this will anger a few of you guys so I will run for cover nowLOL Vicky
