Posted March 31, 200420 yr comment_75037 Hi All,I want to do a big disc conversion, probably from Arizona Z, and so I need to get bigger wheels first. I've got 14x7 Wolfrace slot mags on at the moment and really like the 70's look so I was wondering if they were available in 16x7. I've searched all over the place and haven't been able to find any though apart from some specially made split rim replicas which sure ain't cheap.Any ideas folks?Cheers,Rob Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11029-are-16-slot-mags-available/ Share on other sites
March 31, 200420 yr comment_75040 I'd recommend the panasports in gun metal color from Motorsport in the 16X7's. Just my $.02 worth:classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11029-are-16-slot-mags-available/#findComment-75040 Share on other sites
April 1, 200420 yr Author comment_75166 Hmmm, not too keen on the panasport/minilite style wheels. They're a bit too common over here, every man and his MG has them.Cheers,Rob Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11029-are-16-slot-mags-available/#findComment-75166 Share on other sites
April 1, 200420 yr comment_75169 I don't know that I've ever seen an aluminum slot in anything larger than a 15 inch rim. At one time, every wheel manufacturer sold at least one model of aluminum slotted wheel, today, I doubt if you could find more than one or two that still make them, if that. There are a couple manufacturers that are making reproductions of classic wheels they discontinued years ago, in modern sizes, but so far, I haven't seen a slot.
