I have a F54 turbo block for sale in Beaverton, OR. Previous owner told me it was taken from a totaled 280zx turbo with about 75K. After taking the block apart, I can beleive it!!!!!! All standard bearings and pistons. Bottom end is in almost perfect condition.

Perfect for your STROKER build or Hybrid TURBO. Block has never been rebuilt.

I do not have the head or wireing harness for this motor, only the complete bottom end. At this moment, motor is dissasembled.

I will include turbo oil pan, crank, rods, pistons, and other parts associated with the bottom end

Must make room for my other projects, my loss your gain

$150 firm

Please email me at fattyjay22@yahoo.com ROFL

75,000 miles? With hone marks? Interesting. Because a hundred other people will click on this in the future to see how to price their parts, here's some value points:

$150: An F54 NON-TURBO lower end with 75,000 original miles out of a running car that has NOT BEEN TAKEN APART.

$100: An F54 TURBO lower end with 75,000 original miles out of a running car that has NOT BEEN TAKEN APART.

$0-$50: An F54 TURBO or N/A with 75,000 or a jillion miles on it that HAS been taken apart. Ya gotta put new bearings in it; ya gotta turn the crank; ya gotta re-ring and therefore hone and it will be out slightly so ya gotta bore a bit and buy new flattops and............................

75k is what the previous owner had told me. The bottom end is in great condition, it has just been sitting for a bit. Whenever I come across a motor like this, I will take it apart anyways to make sure everything is nice and clean. A bit of cleaning, some new parts, and definatly a head, this motor should be great!!! I have not measured anything in this motor, so I could be wrong:stupid: , but form the looks of it, everything just needs a good cleaning. I just want to get what I paid for this, otherwise I will keep it and build it later on. Money is short right now and I thought this might help.

Thanks for the feedback

Just for comparrison...I bought a running 280ZX non-turbo engine (F54 block and P79 head) last year from a guy doing a V8 swap. Engine was complete from oil pan to valve cover including alternator, AC pump, water pump, etc, etc, etc and only cost $150.

There's a guy in CA right now with an F54 lower end also for sale asking $80 I believe, but it has already been machined and just needs re-assembled.

I have a F54 block that came off a 1982 280zxt. It has been cleaned, measured

and crack tested. The cylinders have been bored and honed 20 over. Top deck has

been cleaned and pollished and ready for a new gasket. I also have the pistons

that will fit this block. Let me know if your also interested in those as well

Everything has been done at a school shop using the correct tools. When

I first began the project I had a complete l28et motor that I was going

to rebuild and do a little modifications like porting and pollishing,

regrinding the 3 angle vavle jobs, replacing oem parts with aftermarket

performance parts, etc... I was almost done with the project and was

ready to drop it into my car until my car was sold by my dad. Now I

don't have anything to put it in so I sold it as parts because no one

wanted to buy a complete rebuild motor for the price I was asking for.

Therefore I am selling pieces by pieces ofthe motor. Soorry for the long

story, anyways you can reply back to me at sofrshsoclnpinoi@tmail.com
