Welcome aboard . I dont think I can be of any help to you here , I don't know a thing about a 300 other than they have 4 tires and look different than a 240Z:classic:

Most of us own a first gen Z (240Z/260Z/280Z). Some own a daily driver 300ZX.

Back in the 80's and early 90's my dad drove an 86 300ZX turbo. I know small bits and pieces, since I was the one who did the oil changes and general up-keep.
